The Goddess
Last weekend, I was fortunate to attend the 10th Annual Southeast Wise Women Herbal conference from October 10-12, 2014. It was an amazing experience to be in the presence of approximately 1000 women. The energy was overwhelmingly positive and comforting. The women were warm and welcoming. The opening ceremony was so alive and spiritually moving. I never thought I could enjoy being in the presence of so many women. Of course there were probably some wounded women in their process, but the positive energy prevailed. It is almost impossible not to have some both dynamics in the pursuit of balance. This weekend makes me think about the title of one of my favorite books: Some love, Some pain, Sometime by J. California Cooper.
I am truly excited to be living in an age where women are starting to embrace their divine feminine energy. We still have a lot of work to do, but we are heading in the right direction. I salute all the mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, lovers and friends. I pray that we all grow into our power and embrace our inner Goddess.
